Biography
Education and Post-Graduate Training
Dr. D’Amelio attended college at Florida State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 1978. He attained his D.D.S. degree graduating from Emory University College of Dentistry in 1983. After five years of general dental practice experience, he continued his postgraduate dental education at the University of Maryland Dental School where he received his certificate in endodontics in 1990.
Dr. D’Amelio was in the private practice of endodontics for over 30 years before selling his practice and relocating to the DFW area. Dr. D’Amelio is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the postgraduate endodontic clinic at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Additionally, since moving to the DFW area, Dr. D’Amelio has volunteered his time in providing pro bono endodontic services to the uninsured and impoverished residents of inner-city Fort Worth at Mercy Clinic of Fort Worth.
Dr. D’Amelio is a member of the American Dental Association, the DFW Metro Endo Society, and a life
member of the American Association of Endodontists. In his free time, Dr. D’Amelio enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with friends and family in the DFW area.
