Biography
Dr. Ying S. Wang is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics. Dr. Wang received her dental degree from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 2014. After a hospital internship, she spent three years in private General Practice, in Hiroshima, Japan. She then pursued further education and received her Certificate in Periodontics and her Master of Science degree, in 2021, from The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH), where she served as the Chief Periodontal Resident (2020-2021).
Prior to joining Texas A&M University, Dr. Wang was involved in teaching, providing lectures, lab exercises, and clinical supervision to predoctoral dental students, dental staff, and fellow residents.
Dr. Wang’s research interests are focused on soft tissue surgical procedures and dental implants, and she has been involved in the performance of clinical trials and systematic reviews.
